Supply Chain Management

Build Smart, Sustainable & Proactive Supply Chain

We help your organization develop your Supply Chain into a competitive advantage in the marketplace. No matter what your supply chain maturity level, we help you develop and turn it into a core competency by working on the 3 A’s of supply chain- Agility, Adaptability and Alignment.

Companies focus on greater speed and cost effectiveness to remain competitive. However, most fail to retain their competitiveness in the medium to long run, as Global Supply chains are dynamic and constantly evolving. It is important to forecast the future trends to remain competitive and sustainable. This is where Adaptability and Alignment become important along with Agility.

Underperforming supply chains typically leave 5-10%+  percentage points in potential gross margin gains on the table

What's your Supply Chain Maturity Level?

Almost all companies believe that they have better than average supply chain resilience. However, when put to test with a natural disaster or a man made disruption, it becomes clear they do not stand up to the test with one or more of the 3A’s not performing as expected.

A research study by the MIT forum for Supply Chain Innovations and Pricewaterhouse Coopers has identified four levels of Supply Chain Maturity:

Level 3

Level 1

Level 3

Level 4

  • Align KPIs across the entire ecosystem

  • Full flexibility to identify and respond to emerging value chain patterns

  • Real-time monitoring and data analytics

  • Quick responses shortens product, network, and process lead times

  • Segmented risk strategies based on supplier profiles and market-product combination characteristics

  • Extensive data and information sharing produces high visibility

  • Integration of product design and inventory management across all supply chain partners

  • Visibility outside of the organization is exploited to predict change and variability

  • Monitor supply chain resilience levels and business continuity plan preparation

  • Align performance objectives and information across internal departments

  • Some visibility into emerging changes and patterns outside of the company

  • Changing demand patterns influence product design

  • Integration of internal risk management processes

  • Low degree of integration and little coordination between suppliers and partners

  • Minimal coordination between product design and supplier operations

  • Little visibility into source of supply chain risk

  • Unbalanced inventory leading to poor customer service
